Facts

MECPRO offers complete solvent extraction systems featuring :
  • Continuous operation

  • Low oil residue in extracted meal

  • Low power and steam consumption

  • Low solvent losses

  • Low sediment in the extracted oil

  • Mechanical simplicity

  • Extractor having the following features :

    - Automatic feeding - A system which increases or reduces the extractor speed according to the fluctuation of the material level in the feed hopper :

- Clean Miscella - Due to special clarification and filtration system.

- Mechanical simplicity.

- Effective Screen Cleaning - By scraping and spraying mechanisms.

  • Counter Current Desolventizer Toaster (D.T) or Desolventizer Toaster Dryer Cooler (D.T.D.C).

- Considerable pre-desolventizing by indirect steam heated compartments.

- Open steam through rotating shaft desolventizing ensuring maximum effectiveness in sparge steam-material contact.

- Effective opening system in the double bottom for better removal of hexane during sparge steam passage.

- Low temperature of outlet vapours; 68 - 72°C.

- Low solvent residue in the desolventized meal - less than 100 ppm.

- Special sealing rotary feeders to feed solvent laden meal into the D.T. and sealing screw conveyor to discharge the desolventised meal into the drying/packing section.

- Steam Saving Systems

- Various economizers and heat exchangers are provided in our extraction system in order to utilize any available heat carried with hot vapour, oil or water streams and to recirculate the water in the plant resulting in no wastage of water.
